About Me

My name is Toni Kuhel (pronounced “cool” – no lie).  Toni KuhelI am a 40 something year old wife and mother of  16 twin tornados and a 13 year old diva.  I’ve become an American College of Sports Medicine  (ACSM) Certified personal trainer after choosing to leave a 15 year career as an Early Childhood Speech Language Pathologist.  I’m looking to share and hear stories about family struggles with health and wellness.  We are a very average family with a host of challenges.  We’ve come a long way in our thinking and practice of what’s right for us in terms of our health.  This journey is real and it will make you realize that you are not on your journey alone.

  1. Toni- great idea! Sometimes I need inspiration and I’ll be sure to tune in here for that. I miss our work-out times, I could really use the de-stressing with a friend right now.

  2. Toni – you are an inspiration! I am proud of you and what you are doing. I struggle daily with staying on the right path regarding eating & exercising. It’s not just about eating right & exercising, but trying to manage all of the daily stressors as well. It’s nice for me to see that I am not the only one juggling so many responsibilities. I will continue to tune it to see what you have going on. Thanks for taking me along on your journey!

  3. Way to go, Toni! I love it and I can’t wait for more. Over 200 hits already – whoo hoo! You’re going to impact so many people who are looking for positive change. 🙂

  4. Found your blog. Looks great look forward to digging more into it as the time goes by. Thank you for friending me at the gym. There are times where I do feel a little overwhelmed with the career change and it is nice to develop a friendship quickly. Together we will figure this thing out, because it is apparent not much help will come from above.

    • Jim, Thanks for being my Fitness Buddy at the gym. Isn’t that the name of an awesome website? http://www.thefitnessbuddy.com
I appreciate you stopping by my blog. I enjoyed your website as well. I’m so glad that we can be there for one another during our career changes. I’m a friend in need and you are a friend indeed! We are going to be rock star trainers at the gym doing the right things for the right reasons. I just know it!!
